Ever Lead Me is an arrangement of an old Christian hymn entitled Lord, Accept Our True Devotion written by Norman W. Smith (1833-1917).

This arrangement includes new words by Michelle Smyth. In the last few months of her mother's serious illness, Michelle was grieving and in need of comfort. This hymn tune, which she had heard performed in the past, came to her mind and she sat down and penned new words to the melody. It is a gentle, pleading prayer, entreating the Lord to be with us as we go through the various challenges of our lives.

The arrangement is designed to be comforting, simple and beautiful, and accessible to singer, accompanist, and listeners.
