I Fired Myself!
It’s official. After 35+ years in the software industry, I’ve decided to fire myself! I'm trading in my full-time software development management gig for a full-time job managing music composition and arranging projects, gardening, woodworking and who knows what else?
My family recently threw a retirement party for me and three of my boys put together a version of "When I'm Sixty-Four" with new lyrics... "When I Work No More." Pretty fun. If you listen to it, you'll learn a bit about me. Like: I am deaf in my right ear and, because of surgeries, I have a pretty large opening for my ear canal. We have 11 kids, 29 grandkids (and one more on the way). I'm shorter than my wife. I love watching baseball and have been a Dodgers fan since I was a kid. I grew up playing the accordion, I'm red-green color blind, and my kids are pretty musical themselves 😉.
